RRAMP takes on the guise of a performance band featuring three members… Singer/musician Christine Johnston is the tall, somewhat lonesome lady-of-the-house who lives in a large home full of her collections, objects, stories and memories; she has procured two other members to join her band. They live in her big house free of board… in exchange for music, filing, archival assistance, dance and a listening ear. They are Lisa O’Neill as her much shorter comedic side-kick, ever willing to be of assistance but off on her own curious mind (and body) bends; and Peter Nelson as the somewhat ambiguous musical geek… busily making sound behind his bank of technology. The exquisite animations of Ahmarnya Price join the story-telling. Through a hybrid of original music, dance, story, song, humour and animation these three characters lead the audience into a musical score, performing their way through a hard hitting electronica dance opera metal pop rock set reflecting on unexpected and compelling stories of collections, animal love, childhood imaginings and human frailty.

The three artists at the helm of RRAMP have worked together for many years… Previous works together include DECENT SPINSTER; FLUFF; PIANISSIMO and MADAME LARK. Together these practitioners work across numerous forms including music, dance, theatre, contemporary performance, comedy and new media.

RRAMP is:
Christine Johnston, Lisa O’Neill and Peter Nelson
