Imaginary Theatre is a professional Queensland arts-based organisation creating performances, workshops and arts experiences for children and young people. Based in Brisbane, Imaginary Theatre’s aim is to develop exciting world-class art that stimulates children’s imagination and creativity, promotes multiple literacies, and celebrates our rich cultural diversity. Since being founded in 2006, Imaginary has presented its performance work to over 50,000 children, parents and carers Australia-wide. In 2010, Imaginary Theatre completed a ten-week national tour of their flagship theatre production TASHI, supported by Playing Australia.
Imaginary Theatre have two new TASHI stories for touring in 2012: Tashi: Lost in the City & The Mountain of White Tigers. Regional Queensland and national tours are currently being finalised. . |
